A wonderful sit-down restaurant with a classic feel, clean with a friendly atmosphere. The wait staff was cordial and the food was absolutely amazing, surprising me with portion size and with flavor. For the same price as its competitors this classic restaurant doubled the expected portion size and freshness of its food from what I would expect at another restaurant. I wish More restaurants like this existed in other counties. I would make it my new normal eatery. Give this place a shot. They will not disappoint.
We stopped for dinner on a Saturday afternoon. We were seated quickly in the clean, casual dining room. The atmosphere was relaxed and family-friendly, the clientele was a mix of all age groups. The menu has a good mix of American diner/ comfort food choices. The salad bar is small, but fresh and tasty. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
The portion sizes here are incredible, and the service is top-notch! I noticed some massive salads being served to other tables. Our onion rings were enormous and arrived perfectly hot and crispy. I ordered the Fish and Chips, and it did not disappoint. Parking is convenient, with spaces available on the street in front of the restaurant or in the lot beside the building.
Amazing food and the warmest atmosphere around. It was a taste of home and felt like I was surrounded by family. I can't wait to go back! I loved the salad bar and the yummy roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and smothered in gravy. Husband had the showboat burger and son had the fried chicken and baked potato. The potato soup was so savory and delicious. I will have leftovers due to the portion size which makes me so happy I get to enjoy it another time again. I'm always sad that I can't come here more often, but excited to make the trip over knowing how delicious everything is. The service is always so fast and friendly and they make you want to keep coming back for more.

We like to go The Show Boat whenever we're going to Crystal, Michigan. The food is great, staff are very friendly plus the price is steady.
